The British made Sin R1 sports car has just hit the market and is priced at £72,000, which is actually a little lower than I personally expected.
The production specifications of the Sin R1 are yet to be revealed, but we do know it will be produced in the U.K.
ProFormance Metals
Sin are in partnership with ProFormance Metals, who Motor Verso met at The Performance Car Show earlier in the year and appear to be a good bunch of guys.
Street Legal
Alongside the street legal R1 will be the racing variant dubbed the R1 GTB which will cost £110,000 and include a custom chassis and special bodywork, we also saw this earlier in the year debuting at Silverstone; it was a beast.
Specs
The Sin R1 is powered by a 444bhp Chevrolet V8 engine and weighs in at just 1,100kg. It will also feature 19-inch wheels, 363mm disc brakes and a Formula One style fuel tank. The engine will be mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox, with a paddle shift box set to be offered in the future. I can’t wait to hear more about the Sin R1.
