In the last month or so the Rolls-Royce Dawn has been spotted a few times during testing in full camouflage. The Rolls-Royce Dawn is effectively a convertible Wraith. We expect the car to start production from early next year with an expected reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2016.
Rolls-Royce Dawn Specs
It will have a 6.6 litre turbocharged V12 which puts out 624bhp via an 8 speed ZF automatic gearbox. All that power combined with the fast ZF gearbox means that the Dawn is capable of doing 0-60mph in around 4.5 seconds, and will whiz up to its electrically limited speed of 155mph in no time.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Replacement?
There is a possibility the Dawn may become the replacement for the Phantom Drophead Coupe, but it’s not clear at the moment. The Dawn will cost more than the Wraith to purchase so expect to part with no less than £250,000 to get your hands on one.
