As the seasons change and it all starts getting a bit cold outside for normal petrolhead activities, we turn our attentions indoors and look forward to ‘Motorshow’ season. The Los Angeles Motorshow kicks off in a little over a week (20th November) and where as we will be bringing you coverage of what’s happening, one of the most anticipated launches will surely be the stunning F-Type Coupe.
Based heavily on the Cx-16 prototype, that has been around for some time now, the new F-type Coupe will only enhance what is already a fantastic car in drop-top form, with Jaguar promising to tighten things up and improve upon it’s current incarnation.
Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar, commented: “The excitement generated when we revealed the C-X16 concept was terrific; so to now be on the cusp of what I can assure you will be a drama-filled reveal event in Los Angeles for F-TYPE Coupé is a very significant moment.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive reaction to F-TYPE Convertible, but for me the purity of creating a sports Coupé is a uniquely satisfying process – and I know that both visually and dynamically, F-TYPE Coupé raises the bar yet again.” Keep checking back for more updates.
Beautiful car. We worked on the S-type transmission for a few months. It was fun having anything to do with such an iconic brand.
