Citroen UK have announced that the order books are now open for customers looking to purchase the upcoming 4th generation C3, the French carmakers popular hatchback. And with an OTR price from £16,280, styling refreshes, both exterior and interior, plus combinations to make your vehicle more personal, this 4th generation will be hard to ignore.
Exterior
Taking cues from the CEXPERIENCE Concept, Citroen equipped the revised front-end that signifies a new approach to their design. But a new approach didn’t stop there, Citroen are offering a possible 97 different colour exterior combinations
Interior
Citroen have worked on the interior and it’s features too. Techwood comes as standard on Flair Plus trim, and features materials that are soft to the touch, have a special stitching arrangement and a light wood finish appearance, which work in coordination with striped detailing on the seats. A no-cost option on the same trim level, you can spec Emerald, which gives its name-sake detailing on the dashboard facia and matching stripe on the front seat backrests and on the outer rear seats.
Advanced Comfort Seats come standard on Flair Plus models, an optional extra on the two lower trim levels, and give the occupants an enhanced level of comfort, with posture and lumbar support. Also, special foam is mated with thick fabric for unrivalled softness.
Trim Levels
The new C3 comes in three trim levels to suit your budget and preference:
Feel
Feel is the entry-level, and features an assortment of standard equipment such as Airbump door panels, EcoLED headlights, 3D rear lights, 7-inch touchscreen featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto air conditioning, cruise control and speed limiter, lane departure warning, speed sign recognition and recommendation and Coffee Break Alert.
Flair
Flair comes with the above, but adds 16-inch Hellix diamond-cut alloys, bi-tone roof and colour coordinated door mirrors, automatic headlights and rear parking sensors, and takes the starting price to £17,330 OTR.
Flair Plus
The range tops out with Flair Plus which starts from £18,730 and adds to the already generous specs by giving you 17-inch Vector diamond-cut alloy wheels, Citroen Connect Nav with three-years of TomTom Live updates, Advanced Comfort seats, Active Safety Brake, Driver Attention Alert, Intelligent Beam Headlights, Assistance and SOS and a reversing camera.
Engines
The Feel comes equipped with a PureTech 83 Petrol engine and 6-speed manual, whilst the Flair and Flair Plus additionally come with the PureTech 110 Petrol or BlueHDi 100 Diesel engine, and either can be equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission as an option.
