Are you free on Monday the 7th of September? Do you have a spare million quid lying around? Then can I suggest you get yourself down to RM Sotheby’s London auction and get yourself something truly awesome. With an auction catalogue featuring everything from a Ferrari 360 Modena’s engine mounted on a plinth to a Bugatti EB110 Super Sport, it has the makings of the ultimate big boys toys sale.
The video below shows the ever enthusiastic Chris Harris and the hugely informed Max Giardo of RM Auctions discussing some of the cars that will be going under the hammer. In 17 minutes it manages to provide a fascinating insight into the history of the cars and seriously makes me consider selling a kidney in order to afford one. Personally, my kidney money would be going on the Porsche 911 (993) Turbo S featured in the video, but the full auction catalogue provides a host of other tempting exotica.
Even if you can’t quite stretch to the asking prices, a night out in the company of these fantastic cars is probably worth the £70 entry fee, which gets you a catalogue and entry for 2 people. The auction takes place at Battersea Evolution, Chelsea Bridge Entrance, Battersea Park, London, SW11 4NJ on Monday the 7th Sepetember.
Feel free to let us know your pick of the auction in the comments below.
