Recently Lotus announced their most powerful production car ever, the insane new Evora 400. The new car will cost from £72,000 when it arrives at dealers in the summer. If you are lucky enough to be able to afford one then it will be ready for delivery around August time.
Lotus Evora 400 – Performance Improvements
Lotus have powered the Evora 400 with a mid-mounted 3.5-litre supercharged V6 producing a whopping 400bhp and 410Nm of torque. This is a huge amount of power for a small car meaning that the car can 0-60-mph in 4.1 seconds, and hit 186mph top speed.
Lotus Evora 400 – Options and Kit List
The standard Evora 400 comes with a limited slip differential, air-conditioning and an infotainment system featuring navigation, so it won’t be a super stripped out version like you may have been expecting. Lotus have made a few options available including a six speed automatic gearbox (£2,000), Alcantara and leather interior (£2,500), lightweight alloy wheels (£2,000) and metallic paint (£900). If you want to look a bit different from the rest there are a selection of styling options including the Black Pack option (£1,250), which adds a darkened roof, side sills and centre section of the three piece rear spoiler.
