The Ford GT40 is not only one of the most incredible cars in terms of performance, but also in aesthetics. Recently we got given the opportunity to spend a gorgeous afternoon down at Bruntingthorpe airfield, with one of these iconic race cars.
The Ford GT40
Ever since the Ford GT40 won the 24h Le Mans 4 consecutive times from 1966-1969, it was secured to forever be in race car history. The GT40 was originally produced to be the car that finally beat Ferrari’s 6 wins in a row in Le Mans. Being powered originally by a 4.7-litre V8, it certainly was a different approach compared to Ferrari’s 3- and 4-litre V12’s.
The Main Video
The GT40 that we had the opportunity to shoot was of course finished in the infamous Gulf livery, and this video in my opinion, really does showcase just how gorgeous and jaw-dropping this car really is. So, without further ado, here is the brand new video of this incredible GT40 – “The Sound Of Le Mans.”
