I imagine most Americans – and indeed the rest of the world – are still waiting to wake from the somewhat surreal dream that Donald Trump is now the President of the United States. I’m not going to get bogged down in the politics as I’m not the man to do that and you came here for cars. So, with that in mind let’s get crackin’.
The car in question is a 1988 Cadillac Limousine, which has actually been called the Cadillac Trump. The plan was for a run of 50 models to be produced. However, only two were ever made which makes this car even more exclusive. Mr Trump may have been the first and most notable owner, but this American giant has had five previous owners and has covered a total of 45,000 miles. The car features on the Exchange and Mart website with a guide price of £50,000, although the limo will cruise its way into auction.
Sean Tanner, the Commercial Director for Sevenvale Cars based in Gloucester, who is offering the vehicle for sale said: “This is a unique vehicle that offers a rare opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts to buy a car that will always attract interest. We know the current owner well. He bought the Cadillac ten years ago and it’s been his pride and joy. It has even starred in a couple of films, so we hope this will fetch a good price.”
Exchange and Mart’s Commercial Director, Thom Coupar-Evans, added: “There is so much interest in President Trump and this one-off opportunity to purchase both a piece of history and a potential investment. This means that we are expecting this to attract a lot of interest from UK buyers.”
Donald Trump is not included in the price, much to your relief.
