An extremely rare 1991 Ferrari F40 has recently been sold in Australia for a mind blowing £820,000.
The 1991 F40 had two very happy owners from new and has been fully restored to its original condition thanks to Ferrari Advocates Australia. As you would except for this kind of money it comes with a full service history, and supporting documents since 1991.
The details of the new owner are yet to be released. But the lucky man/woman will also be getting 6 months of detailing and a photoshoot of the car included in the deal. You wouldn’t expect any less really, would you?
Ferrari top trumps
For those of you who don’t know Ferrari top trumps; this legendary car has a 2.9 litre twin turbo V8 engine that puts out 471bhp. With only 1315 F40s made, it was built to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ferrari and succeeded the Ferrari 288 GTO. The Ferrari F40 has since been superseded by the Ferrari Enzo, and the LaFerrari released last year.
Expensive or not this example of the F40 is amazing to look at and I should imagine it is one hell of a drive.
I have a F40 with only 1,600 km for €600,000 for sale the trouble with Australia is they punish everyone with huge import taxes like 100% on top of purchase price . That’s why they all drive cheap Japanese cars
I could get together about £600, will they take that for it Andy? 😉
Seriously this is basically a brand new car it’s the cleanest F40 I have ever seen its under 1500km and looks like it the interior is immaculate and the engine is in truly amazing condition . Oh and it’s €650,000 which is a bargain belive me plus my commission of course 3%
If you can see the dial you will see how low the km is
That is a very impressive car!
Cheap too in the USA it would be worth a million easy as its a 91 with a cat they allow them in .
C’mon, it’s a bargain Lorne!
