Ford Motor Company have said it would show the freshened-up Focus saloon and the Focus Electric during the New York motor show press days next week.
2015 Ford Focus Saloon Updates
The latest Focus features a redesigned bonnet and grill, LED lighting for the headlight and rear light clusters, and a re-styled boot lid. One of the engine options that Ford will offer the is the mighty 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine that produces 123bhp with a new six speed manual gearbox.
There are also improvements to the technology on the car, including a rear view parking camera, and optional blind spot and lane departure warning systems.
What’s New Inside
Inside, both the 2015 Focus saloon and hatchback will have new colours and materials for the seat trims, a redesigned steering wheel, different satin chrome detailing, updated switches and controls, and a revamped centre console that houses adjustable cup holders.
The car features a tweaked chassis, with changes including a new shock absorber valve design for “improved interior quietness”, updated rear suspension, and re-tuned electric power-assisted steering for “a more connected feel to the road”.
Finishing off the updates on the 2015 Ford Focus saloon is an SE Sport Package; a new exterior kit that includes 17 inch black gloss alloy wheels and, if you go for the automatic gearbox, F1 style paddles.
