Bugatti have dedicated series of cars honouring Jean-Pierre Wimille. Who is their longest ever serving test driver. This version is the second of six and is called the ‘Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse “Jean Bugatti”.
Jean was the oldest son of the founder Ettore Bugatti who designed the Type 57 SC Atlantic during the Second World War. This new Veyron draws upon Jean’s personal 57SC, known as La Voiture Noire, or The Black Car.
The interior is brown on beige, which in theory sounds terrible, but take a look at the pictures, it’s very impressive. Bugatti will only build 3 of these ‘Jean Bugatti’ legendary cars and they will all be priced over £2M.
The bodywork on the car is finished completely in black carbon fibre and it has a newly designed set of huge two-tone black and silver wheels.
The last and most personal touch is the Jean’s signature that is on the cars petrol and oil caps.
250mph with no roof, that would be interesting…
