It has been awhile since we have seen a crazy limited edition Lamborghini. So I introduce to you the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster. It will be a limited run of just 20 cars that have been retailed at a whopping $2.3 million and it will come as no surprise to anyone that they have all been sold.
Pure Power
The super rare car comes at a time to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of Lamborghini’s founders birth date – Ferruccio Lamborghini. The lucky owners of the car will get to enjoy a 6.5 L V12 engine that creates 759 hp and can rev all the way up to 8600 rpm. The power hike means this car will do 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds which isn’t bad at all.
Lamborghini Centenario Roadster Styling
The styling of the car in typical special edition Lamborghini style is very extreme with lots of angles, vents and sharp edges. I love it; you’re paying £2.3 million for a car that stands out and this one certainly does so. Take a closer look and you will notice that the car runs on a set of custom-forged aluminium wheels which are 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. These huge wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero performance tyres making the most of that V12 engine. For the eagle-eyed amongst you you will also notice that there is race car-like central locking wheel nuts, which look cool as hell.
A Pure Drive Experience
The car has been optimised to provide a pure driving experience, this means that all 20 cars will feature rear-wheel steering, magneto rheological suspension and an Independent Shifting Rod transmission. For those of you hitting the track the Centenario also comes with on-board telemetry and 3 different drive modes to meet your needs.
