Looking To Get Started In Automotive? Consider An Apprenticeship With LSH Auto

LSH Auto, a leading automotive business, is hosting two apprenticeship evenings in Birmingham and Stockport this week as part of National Apprenticeship Week. The events are aimed at providing young people with a behind-the-scenes look into the career opportunities available in the automotive industry.

Potential apprentices will have the opportunity to meet existing apprentices and colleagues, tour the state-of-the-art facilities, and learn about the Mercedes-Benz apprentice scheme and the various roles available. LSH Auto is currently offering three courses, including Apprentice Customer Experience Partners, Apprentice Parts Specialists, and Apprentice Technicians, all with NVQ Level 3 qualifications.

Becky Pitt, Talent Acquisition Specialist at LSH Auto, said that becoming an apprentice is a great way to earn money and a qualification while gaining real-life experience. Chris Birch, parts supervisor at Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham, added that his apprenticeship with LSH Auto has provided him with many opportunities for growth and advancement in his career.

Scarlett Darby, who joined the Mercedes-Benz apprentice scheme in September 2020, recommended the program, saying that she enjoys working in the parts team for LSH Auto and that she would definitely recommend it.
