Not that you would ever associate McLaren with doing things slowly, but after only a few months on sale the McLaren 675LT is completely sold out.
Hard-core and Longer Version
The 675LT is a more hard-core and longer version than the McLaren 650S, which was released at the Geneva motor show in March 2015. When it was announced McLaren said that there would only be 500 examples made. Little did we know two months later all 500 of these will be sold.
From what we hear from McLaren half the buyers of the 675LT are brand-new McLaren customers and the other half are returning customers who have owned previous models such as the MP4-12c, 650S and P1.
Performance Figures
If this is the first time you’ve heard of the 675LT, let me give you a few details; it is powered by McLaren’s 3.8-litre V8 twin turbo engine, that creates 666bhp. The McLaren will do a top speed of 205mph and will do 0-60mph in three seconds flat.
The McLaren 675LT isn’t one of the cheaper models, it retails at £259,500 which is about the same as a Lamborghini Aventador, and I’m sure McLaren may have stopped a sale or two there.
