Big news in the tuner market for all the GT-R lovers this week; Nissan have announced that they will be making a 45th anniversary model of the Nissan GT-R. The bad news is that there will be only 45 models released, and they will sadly only be sold in Japan. Sales are set to open for orders in Febuary 2015.
What is so special about the Nissan GT-R 45th Anniversary Edition
The GT-R 45th Anniversary Edition comes with a unique paint colour called Silica Brass. This colour was always the trademark for the R34 Skyline GT-R M-Spec. The limited edition cars will also come with the Premium Edition trim level and will sport a emblem, inside and out, proving this car is one of the 45 unique models.
Being a special edition I was personally hoping for a big power boost or some extreme styling upgrades, nonetheless the 45th anniversary model will sell out for sure, but for die hard fans it might be worth waiting for the 50th edition if you are looking for something a bit more extreme. We can only hope!
