BMW Group has added Ferrari’s former chief engineer Roberto Fedeli to its current payroll. BMW’s announcement arrives just a few days before Ferrari goes through another significant personnel change with CEO Luca di Montezemolo officially stepping down from his post.
BMW’s M Performance Division
Fedeli is expected to play a huge role at BMW’s M performance division, inheriting an extensive line-up that includes the 2015 M3 coupe, M6 Gran Coupe, and everything in between. Rumors also suggest he could lend his expertise over at Rolls-Royce. Fedeli had been with Ferrari for over two decades and has been the lead engineer for a number of vehicles, including the Ferrari LaFerrari hybrid supercar. Lets see what impact Fedli can make, good luck.
