Maserati MC20 Notte: A New Dark Horse in the Supercar Realm

Born to Race, Bred for the Road

The automotive world is buzzing with excitement as Maserati reveals its first limited edition of the super sports car MC20, named the MC20 Notte. This special edition is not just a car; it’s a celebration of Maserati’s daring spirit, a tribute to its storied history in racing, and a testament to the brand’s commitment to luxury and performance.

The MC20 Notte Edition is a rare gem, with only 50 units available globally, each embodying the intense power and mystique of darkness. Maserati’s return to its supercar roots is embodied in the MC20, and the Notte Edition takes this a step further.

It’s a fusion of sportiness and luxury, now with an even closer connection to its racing soul. The car’s design, sparked by the enigmatic allure of the night, boasts a roaring V6 Nettuno engine. This engine isn’t just about power; it’s about aesthetic seduction, enhancing the car’s already extraordinary performance.

A Design Sparked by Nightfall

The Notte’s design is a true work of art, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Maserati Fuoriserie team and Andrea Bertolini, a Maserati reference driver and former GT1 world champion. The bodywork of the MC20 Notte transforms from a glossy black to a captivating matte ‘nero essenza’ hue, an effect that’s designed to glow in the dark.

This transformation is Bertolini’s ‘Midas touch’, turning details like the Trident, side logos, and Maserati signature from silver to matte white gold, reigniting Maserati’s proud motorsport heritage. The car’s 20” matte black birdcage wheels are a standout feature, accented in matte white gold, and the brake callipers are stylishly black.

Inside, the MC20 Notte doesn’t disappoint. It features 6-way power sport seats in Alcantara black/grey with yellow stitching, a Trident on the headrests, and a sport steering wheel with carbon fibre inserts. An exclusive metal plate and a ‘UNA DI 50’ signature between the two headrests add to the exclusivity.

The Thrill of Racing, The Allure of Night

Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati design, encapsulates the essence of the MC20 Notte. “Fuoriserie means ‘custom-built’ in Italian, and our Trident’s customisation program is designed to create unique rolling sculptures for our clients.”

The MC20 Notte is a celebration of the thrill of racing and the allure of the night, combining supreme performance and Italian elegance with the mysterious charm of the nocturnal world. It stands as the first Fuoriserie limited edition of the MC20, dedicated to super sports car collectors and track enthusiasts.

A Star-Studded Launch

The launch of the MC20 Notte Edition is marked by an engaging short film featuring global brand ambassadors and MC20 enthusiasts David Beckham, and Andrea Bertolini. In this film, Beckham’s dazzling MC20 transforms into a new racing creature, blazing through the city and on the racetrack at night.

For the lucky few who manage to get their hands on this limited edition, an exclusive on-track driving experience awaits. This experience, available worldwide, is designed to let owners savour the feeling of this new exclusive model of the Trident, truly capturing the essence of Maserati’s racing heritage and luxurious craftsmanship.

As the MC20 Notte makes its grand entrance into the world of super sports cars, it’s clear that Maserati has once again raised the bar, delivering a vehicle that’s not just a car, but a statement of speed, style, and sophistication.
