Jamie Chadwick is set to make her racing debut at Goodwood, competing in the Ken Miles Cup presented by LGT Wealth Management and the Gordon Spice Trophy at the 81st Member’s Meeting. The new Ken Miles Cup will see Chadwick racing a Ford Mustang whilst the Gordon Spice Trophy will see her get behind the wheel of a Group 1 touring car.
No Stranger to Goodwood
This is Chadwick’s first race at the iconic circuit, but she has a history at the famous British track. She tested Keke Rosberg’s Williams-Cosworth FW08 at the 2021 Festival of Speed, which was her first Formula 1 test. Beginning in 2021, she has also completed the world-renowned Hillclimb with the W Series, Extreme E, and Williams Racing. The three-time W Series champion and Indy NXT driver said “I have great memories of Goodwood” and claimed that she was looking forward to “getting to grips with the high-speed Circuit and having some fun out on track – especially in a Ford Mustang!”
Sustainable Racing
Both the Ken Miles Cup and Gordon Spice Trophy will run on sustainable fuels, in Goodwood’s bid to reduce its carbon footprint. After the success of the Fordwater Trophy at the 2023 Goodwood Revival, the 2024 race list will be entirely sustainably-fuelled.
A Weekend of Racing
Chadwick will join the new House Captains alongside Members and Fellows of the Goodwood Road Racing Club at the 81st Members’ Meeting. Celebrating the 10th modern Member’s Meeting the weekend will include action-packed racing and demonstrations as well as House Games and off-track festivities.
A Date For Your Diary
The 81st Member’s Meeting takes place on 13th and 14th April 2024, with tickets currently on sale. The weekend promises to offer nail-biting racing, a Can-Am celebration, and off-track activities, which you can find out more about here.
