The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series

Autumn will see the advent of the first Black Series car from Mercedes-AMG since 2013 and the sixth overall.  The new Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is now on sale at a price of £335,000. This engine boasts power figures of  730 hp of and torque figures of 800 Nm making it the most powerful V8 that Mercedes AMG has produced so far.

The bespoke 4.0-litre V8 engine allows the GT Black edition to go from a standstill to 62 mph in a meagre 3.2 seconds and it can achieve a top speed of 201 mph. The carbon-fibre-roof and tailgate also make this the lightest GT model Mercedes has ever made. Further innovations include a new rear apron with a large diffuser, an actively controlled AMG Performance exhaust system, AMG ceramic high-performance composite brake system, and titanium roll-bar.

High Callibre Looks

The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series will also have a lot going for it in terms of the way it looks. The car will also feature a lot of carbon fibre including an adjustable front diffuser. As for the interior, customers can either opt for a racing package that will feature racing seats, the aforementioned roll-bar, and four-point seat belts. Or, they can go for the comfort package which will have heated AMG Performance seats instead. Upholstery can either be Nappa leather/DINAMICA microfibre with contrasting topstitching in orange or a more conservative black with grey stitching
